Pastor Teri Hermsmeyer is leading us through this period of transition. Her email is

Pastor Teri is serving Risen Lord as an intentional interim pastor between their previous called pastor of five years, and their next called pastor.  Besides preaching, leading worship, pastoral care and education, she is guiding the congregation through their transition, helping them to rediscover their own identity as a church (the people, not the building!), discern their mission and vision, and tackle any conflicts or stresses before calling a new pastor with skills that fit their mission and vision as a church and can begin ministry together with a healthy start.

Pastor Teri was ordained in 2009 through the ELCA, graduating from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg (PA) (transferring classes in from Iliff School of Theology in Denver) and has served as a part-time pastor on the eastern plains of Colorado with Our Savior's Lutheran in Anton, Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center and All Saints Church in Brush, as a supply pastor for Bethlehem Lutheran in Brush for several months, as an interim pastor for Shepherd of the Valley in LaSalle, as well as an on call chaplain for Good Samaritan Medical Center in Lafayette over a 7 year period.  She is enjoying this interim call at Risen Lord in Conifer . . . with a lovely mountain drive!  Pastor Teri lives in Boulder (32 years) with her husband.  They have three grown children in their late 20s who are off on their own adventures, of which Pastor Teri and Norris live through vicariously.  They also have an adorable 3 year old cocker spaniel named Penny.  Pastor Teri and her family are global travelers, and she and Norris have served as volunteer short term missionaries in India, Papua New Guinea and Kenya. These global travel experiences have broadened her view of the world, finding love and joy in all God's people, and a deep appreciation for ecumenical relations among all Christians.
